Is my holiday protected against Covid-related issues?

Holidays should be relaxing! So we want to make it easy for you to book with us, safe in the knowledge that you can amend your holiday plans as necessary, whatever Covid may throw at you!

As a small, specialist tailor-made operator we’re committed to providing a truly individual and flexible service for all our clients. So please rest assured that should anything arise to complicate your holiday plans, we’ll work with you to resolve it to your satisfaction. And if you choose to postpone your trip, we will aim re-book it at the same cost as your original holiday.

It is also more important now than ever to have the correct level of travel insurance cover for your holiday. We strongly recommend choosing a policy that includes protection for the various Covid-19 related scenarios.

How is my holiday financially protected?

When you book with Distinctive you are safe in the knowledge that we are fully bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority and hold an Air Tour Operators Licence (ATOL 9027).

We are a member of AITO (Association of Independent Tour Operators) which represents the UK’s 140 top specialist tour operators and prides itself on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction by concentrating on: Choice, Quality and Service.

How much do your holidays cost?

As all our holidays are 100% bespoke we can tailor your holiday to your budget. We offer accommodation options ranging from basic tourist class properties all the way to ultra-luxurious stays. We also offer a range of transport options from self-drive, shared transfers to helicopter rides and private aircraft charters.

Typically a 2-week long haul holiday with tourist class accommodation and economy class flights will cost between £2000 - £3000 per person. For a similar trip with four-star accommodation the costs tends to range between £2500 - £4000 per person then from around £3500 - £5000 per person with five-star accommodation.

These estimated costs will vary of the destination. We can also offer premium economy, business class and first class flight supplements on flights quoted.

Do I have to pay for my holiday upfront?

Once you are happy with your holiday quotation we usually require a deposit of between 10-20% of the holiday. Your balance payment is then due 10 week prior to departure.

How long does it take to get a holiday quotation?

We endeavour to get our recommended holiday itinerary and quote to you within 24-48 hours of taking your brief.

Does it cost to have a consultation or get a holiday quotation?

Our consultations, advice and holidays quotations are free of charge. There are no hidden costs. You simply pay for your holiday and enjoy!
